When it came to finding Texas Real Estate or Texas homes or even
getting some real estate investing done in Texas recreational
properties the Lone Star State has been going against the trend that’s
gripping the rest of the country.
While real estate in general has been languishing in the doldrums and houses throughout the country are remaining unsold or are selling extremely slowly Texas attracted new buyers, continued to attract real estate investors and showed one of the smallest dips in Texas home prices which was more of an adjustment than a drop.
When it came to finding Texas Real Estate or Texas homes or even getting some real estate investing done in Texas recreational properties the Lone Star State has been going against the trend that’s gripping the rest of the country.
While real estate in general has been languishing in the doldrums and houses throughout the country are remaining unsold or are selling extremely slowly Texas attracted new buyers, continued to attract real estate investors and showed one of the smallest dips in Texas home prices which was more of an adjustment than a drop. Texas recreational properties, Texas homes and Texas lakefront homes continue to be of interest to those who know that real estate in Texas offers a winning combination of great prices and great real estate investment opportunities. The slowdown that was experienced across the board due to the US Elections picked up the moment the results were announced and a measure of confidence returned in the financial markets. The figures speak for themselves. During the months of September and October online searches for Texas Real Estate , Texas Land for Sale and Texas properties fell by a staggering 70% while house buying activity in Texas came to as near a slowdown as you can get without having the market freeze over. In November the picture could not be more different. House prices are creeping up again as Texas house buyers and sellers are eager to close deals and begin the process of moving onto their next Texas property. Searches, according to industry metric company, ComScore are up again and Texas property buyers are coming back into the market. Is it time to say that the fears of a recession are over? Looking at the global picture the answer is that no, probably not yet. The fact is however that Texas Realtors are reporting increased activity over this month, web searches for Texas homes and Texas land are up again and those looking to snap up a Texas ranch know that this is the time to strike it lucky and clinch themselves a bargain. While the market remains undoubtedly tough and buyers are cautious the biggest change by far lies in the value that both buyers and sellers expect to get. The former are now less eager to compete for properties and are looking, instead, to find the one that best fits their criteria and the budget they want to spend while the latter are ready to negotiate on providing value and a realistic property price in return for a quick sale. Texas’ ability to combine surf and turf, mountain views as well as rivers and lakes makes for a tremendous diversity. The great number of property buyers flooding back into the market and the increased interest in out of state real estate investors willing to snap up a prime Texas property are a signal that Texas real estate is back in business and though the bullish atmosphere of a year or more ago is no longer in place it still makes it good to know that those living and working in Texas are setting an example which the rest of the country envies.
